New Project on Affordable Housing Need

Thursday 22 January 2015

Researchers from the Universities of St Andrews, Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam, have been commissioned by Shelter Scotland, the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and the Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland to develop a pan Scotland assessment of affordable housing need.

Led by Ryan Powell (CRESR, Sheffield Hallam), this project will provide evidence and policy recommendations to feed into debates about appropriate levels of public investment required to meet housing need in the non-market sector.

The project will report in May 2015.
