DGSD Staff and Research Postgraduates at The Burn

Friday 28 November 2014

Staff and Postgraduates from the Department of Geography and Sustainable Development were at The Burn this week for the annual SAGES graduate School retreat.

Led by SAGES Graduate School Convenor - William Austin (St Andrews, front row -right) and SAGES Director - Trevor Hoey (University of Glasgow, second row - right). The photograph below includes both current staff (Jed Long, Katy Roucoux and Urska Demsar), current research postgraduates (Vanessa da Silva Brum Bastos, Bozena Wielgoszewska, Noor Saeed, Michaela Roberts and Craig Smeaton), as well as former taught postgraduates (now research postgraduates at other SAGES member institutes) from our MSc in Sustainable Development (Jennifer Williams and Julen Gonzales).

This year’s theme was “grant success”!
