McKee Edits Special Issue in Housing Theory and Society

Thursday 04 September 2014

A special journal issue of Housing Theory and Society edited by Dr Kim McKee has been published: “The Big Society, Localism and Housing Policy: recasting state-citizen relations in an age of austerity”. It features papers by Professor John Flint (University of Sheffield); Professor Keith Jacobs (University of Tasmania); Dr Tony Manzi (University of Westminster); and a co-authored paper by Dr Peter Matthews (University of Stirling), Professor Glen Bramley (Heriot-Watt University) and Professor Annette Hastings (University of Glasgow).

The special issue brings together papers presented at a recent ESRC funded seminar led by Kim during 2012-14; this was a collaborative project involving the Universities of St Andrews, Sheffield, Reading and Queen’s University Belfast.  More information about the seminars, including briefing papers and presentations can be viewed on the project website.

The papers from the special journal issues are also now available online early.
