David McCollum, speaker at recent ESRC Future of the UK and Scotland event

Wednesday 23 April 2014

Dr David McCollum, lecturer in Geography & Sustainable Development, was an invited speaker at a recent ESRC Future of the UK and Scotland event in Glasgow which examined the potential implications of a No vote in the September 2014 Scottish independence referendum.

David's contribution to the discussion centred on the challenges and opportunities that Scotland faces in devising an immigration policy attuned to its particular needs, whatever the outcome of the referendum.
