SGSD graduate awarded prize for dissertation in population geography

Friday 17 August 2018

Congratulations to recent graduate Victoria Firth, who has been awarded second place in this year’s RGS Population Geography Research Group Joanna Stillwell prize for the best undergraduate dissertations in population geography in the UK.

Victoria’s dissertation was supervised by Dr David McCollum and provided a fascinating insight into mixed race youth identities in Hong Kong.

Very well-done Victoria (pictured, centre, at this year’s graduation ceremony).
