Laure Kuhfuss visits Montpellier Supagro on an Erasmus+ teaching mobility

Friday 24 November 2017

Earlier this month, Laure Kuhfuss, research fellow in Environmental Economics at the School, spent a week in Montpellier, France, working with colleagues from Montpellier Supagro and INRA as well as teaching to Montpellier master students.

During her visit she gave a talk on the design of Payment for Ecosystem Services using experimental economics at a joint seminar organised by the Experimental Economics and the Environmental Economics research groups. She also gave a lecture on the use of Discrete Choice Experiments to value ecosystem services and assess agri-environmental policies to the TERPPA (Territoires Ressources Politiques Publiques et Acteurs) master students (see picture below), and worked on the preparation of a joint research proposal. A busy week under a sunny sky!

The mobility was funded through the Erasmus+ agreement between the School and Montpellier Supagro, which includes a student exchange programme for the SD Master students and a teaching mobility programme.
