NSS 2017: SGSD goes from strength to strength

Thursday 10 August 2017

The National Student Survey 2017 results (8 August 2017) show the University of St Andrews top in the UK for student satisfaction and the School of Geography and Sustainable Development has, once again this year, improved its subject ranking position.

Commenting on the NSS2017 results, Head of School, Professor Bill Austin noted: “This is a wonderful endorsement of the quality of learning and teaching at St Andrews; I am incredibly proud of the team here in the School of Geography and Sustainable Development. We are all looking forward to welcoming our new and returning undergraduate students next month – the student experience at St Andrews is truly something to which we all contribute and these highly positive responses from our student body will, I know, be welcome news to everyone here and those about to join us”.
