SGSD woodland project funds summer internship

Tuesday 20 June 2017

The School of Geography and Sustainable Development have proposed a University Woodland for research and teaching.

While benefiting the environment through biodiversity enhancement, carbon storage and other eco-services, we aim to provide a space for practical teaching, research projects, relaxation, and recreation for all member of the university and local community.

Ellie Goddard, a joint Geography with Psychology undergraduate, is working with transition as an intern to produce a report highlighting possible locations within and outside the estate. Ellie will be investigating the suitability of these locations and potential management plans.
