SGSD launches new Magazine

Tuesday 07 February 2017

In January 2017, the former Department of Geography & Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews achieved the status of a fully-fledged School within the University.

The constituent parts of the old School of Geography & Geosciences now constitute two new separate Schools  -  the School of Geography & Sustainable Development and the School of Earth & Environmental Sciences.  This change reflects the notable successes of Geography & Sustainable Development in recent years in research, student satisfaction and national league tables, and its 'promotion' to being a School in its own right will raise its status and influence within the University and beyond.

To celebrate our status as a new School we have launched a new magazine to keep you up-to-date with our news, and are keen to reconnect with our alumni, friends and colleagues here and across the world.
