What is your favourite memory (academic or social) of St Andrews?

It was the evening degree tour when I first joined. They took us around, giving us the history of the University. It made me feel very special knowing I was about to be a part of such a historic institution.

What will you miss most about your time as a student at St Andrews?

I will miss my fellow students. They were very much part of my journey at St Andrews. There was such an eclectic group of people, very interesting with good stories to tell.

What advice would you give to new students?

Hold your head up high and live every minute of your time at St Andrews.

What are your plans after graduation?

Straight after: I plan to celebrate with my family. In general: I am looking to move to a higher level in my career.

How do you think the Covid-19 pandemic and global events have shaped the Class of 2020?

It has been different, I am gutted I am not getting a physical graduation till next year. I missed the chance of saying bye to many students.

Have you taken any positives from the situation?

Remote learning has become much easier through the use of Microsoft Teams. I actually enjoyed our Teams sessions, they felt more interactive for the student. I was able to chat, share my screen and get involved more than in a physical session.

Do you plan to come back to celebrate in person in St Andrews in 2021? If so, what are you most looking forward to about it?

Yes, I can't wait. I am looking forward to the ceremony and the walk around St Andrews with my gown on.
