Interdisciplinary Education Research Assistant (Postgraduate)
Sandro Eich, a final year interdisciplinary PhD student in the School of English, has joined the Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies in the new role of Interdisciplinary Education Research Assistant (Postgraduate). Sandro will be collaborating with colleagues within the GSIS and across the wider university to explore innovative educational practices for supporting interdisciplinary postgraduate research (PGR) and postgraduate taught students. His work will play a crucial role in advancing local educational initiatives and cultivating an intellectual community for interdisciplinary scholars at the University of St Andrews. By researching sector ideas and best practices, Sandro will support the GSIS in creating an inclusive environment for the growth of interdisciplinary students and scholars.
Sandro’s doctoral research focusses on narratives of whistleblowing in contemporary non-fiction, fiction, and media, under the supervision of Dr James Purdon and he is part of the AGHI Johns Hopkins/GSIS University of St Andrews Interdisciplinary Humanities Doctoral Network.
