St Andrews Sanctuary Scholarships
The University is pleased to launch a new Sanctuary Scholarship, specifically designed to support undergraduate and postgraduate applicants who are seeking sanctuary in the UK.
The scholarships are for students starting a Masters degree in September 2021. The scholarships are open to applicants for Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies MSc and MLitt degrees.
Sanctuary Scholarships
Up to four Sanctuary Scholarships are available to MSc and MLitt entrants. The Sanctuary Scholarships are open to any applicant that has an official Home Office status as one of the following:
- Asylum Seeker
- Refugee
- Humanitarian protection
- Limited leave to remain
- Discretionary leave to remain
Each scholarship is worth £22,000.
Interdisciplinary Masters degrees
The Sanctuary Scholarships are open to applicants for Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies Masters degrees:
- Digital Health MSc
- Gender Studies MLitt
- Global Social and Political Thought MLitt
- International Development Practice MSc
- Sustainable Development MSc
Applications
The closing date for scholarship applications is 29 April 2021. Please apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the scholarship.
