St Andrews Education for Palestinian Students Scholarships
The St Andrews Education for Palestinian Students (STEPS) was established in 2011 as an independent charitable foundation to provide funding for Palestinian students at the University of St Andrews.
STEPS and the University of St Andrews are pleased to offer up to two scholarships for students starting a Masters degree in September 2021. The scholarships are open to applicants for Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies MSc and MLitt degrees.
Scholarships cover tuition fees and accommodation fees and include a monthly allowance and travel to/from the UK.
Applicants must have Palestinian nationality and be liable for international tuition fees. Priority will be given to applicants resident in the West Bank, Gaza, or one of the Palestinian Refugee Camps.
Applicants cannot have previously studied at a university outside the West Bank, Gaza, or Lebanon and must not be studying for or hold a postgraduate degree at time of application.
Interdisciplinary Masters degrees
STEPS scholarships are open to applicants for Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies Masters degrees:
- Digital Health MSc
- Gender Studies MLitt
- Global Social and Political Thought MLitt
- International Development Practice MSc
- Sustainable Development MSc
The closing date for scholarship applications is 15 April 2021. Applicants must by that date hold an offer of admission to an eligible Masters degree. Applicants do not need to wait until they hold an offer of admission before applying for the scholarship.
