Discussion in the Film Studies Boardroom

At St Andrews, you can become a part of a vibrant cinema culture with regular events – from screenings, conferences and talks with international speakers – organised through the Centre for Film Studies. Whether joining our popular undergraduate programme, which has just introduced a Single Honours option, or our international postgraduate community (MLitt/Masters or PhD), you will emerge with a powerful and relevant set of analytical tools.

The Film Studies degree resonates with the demands of today’s job market, where film and media literacy is of direct relevance to a variety of careers from journalism and teaching to professions in the creative industries.
