A Model for Interdisciplinary Teaching in Film Studies

 

In this brief essay from the online journal Mediapolis: A Journal of Cities and Culture, Prof Amy Tibbitts (Beloit College, USA) and Dr Dennis Hanlon (University of St Andrews) describe a model they co-created for interdisciplinary teaching–in this instance, combining Spanish and Film Studies. ¬†Although created at Beloit College, a small liberal arts school, certain elements of it may be applicable to staff at St Andrews interested in collaborating with other departments. ¬†Syllabi are downloadable as PDFs at the bottom of the article.
