Commemorating the Centenary, World War I: June 2014 - November 2018

Description
Come along to the Main Library to see a new display showing aspects of the war effort at home including the role of women, industry, and what it was like to live in war time Britain. These items have been selected from The Russell Cawthorn Collection, a large collection of books covering all aspects of World War I and associated conflicts. The Collection explores why the war came about, how World War I changed the way we think about war and conflict, and the implications for international relations today.
