Description
The first of the 2017-18 St Leonard's College Postgraduate Lectures features two talks: Mattias Eken of the School of History on 'The Exhibit That Bombed: The Enola Gay Controversy and Public Discourse in America' and Briana King, School of Classics, on 'Aphrodite Through the Camera Lens: Near Eastern Origins and the Perpetuation of Sex and Violence'. These lectures provide postgraduates with an opportunity to share their research with a wider audience and to raise their profile as independent researchers.

St Leonard's Doctoral and Postgraduate College will take place between February and April 2018 and are open to all University students, postgraduates and staff. The lectures are free to attend, but places should be reserved in advance via stlc@st-andrews.ac.uk.
