St Andrews Chamber Orchestra Concert

Description
St Andrews Chamber Orchestra complete their cycle of Brahms’ symphonies with his fourth, composed in 1885 and concluding with the famous chaconne. To mark the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, the programme also includes Mendelssohn’s fifth symphony, known as the ‘Reformation’ with its references to Luther’s hymn Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott.
