Hannah Britton

Education and Experience

Hannah studied for her BA (Hons) in English at the University of Exeter’s Cornwall Campus, graduating in 2012. She completed her MA in Romantic and Victorian Literary Studies the following year at Durham University, under an AHRC Scholarship. She has received AHRC funding for her PhD at St Andrews, which is concerned with the inheritance of perceptions of place and space in Romantic poetry. Her thesis is provisionally titled ‘Spatial Legacies: Rewriting Romantic Place in the Poetry of John Keats, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and Lord Byron’.
