Summer at St Andrews
Our two-week summer courses are specifically designed for senior high school students who use English as an additional language. Why not spend the summer in the ancient university town of St Andrews, where you can experience student life, hone your language and communication skills, and study subjects such as Medicine, Science, Management, or the Social Sciences and Humanities?
Living in a university hall of residence, doing experiments in our laboratories or debating in seminars, our Summer at St Andrews courses will introduce you to academic subjects, help you to develop confidence in your academic writing, and guide you through the university application process. Could you improve your personal statement? Perhaps you would like to find your way around the library? Do you need guided through UKCAT or would you like to practise making a presentation?
Applications for 2018 will open in mid-October. For full details on each course please visit our Summer at St Andrews website, dates and fees for 2018 will become available in the coming weeks. If you have any questions, please email us.
Students must be over 16 by July 1st 2017 and should have English language competence equivalent to at least IELTS (Academic) 5.5 but probably 6.0 (CEFR B2), or the equivalent.
