How to apply

CathedralApplications for postgraduate study are made direct to the University of St Andrews on the relevant online form. Supporting documentation and reference forms are also required.

If you have any questions about the process you are welcome to contact the Director of Research Postgraduate Studies (for PhD), the Director of Taught Postgraduate Studies (for campus-based MLitts) or the Distance Learning Officer (for 'Bible and Contemporary World' single module, PGDiploma or MLitt).  Their contact details are to the right of this page.

Please see the main How to apply for instructions on how to apply. There are different application forms for full-time taught Masters, distance learning part-time Masters and PhD.

Applications for the PhD and MPhil may be submitted at any time but the closing date for first consideration was 16 January 2017; enquiries may be made to divinitypg@st-andrews.ac.uk
