For many, knowing they have a scholarship may mean the difference between accepting their place at St Andrews, or being forced to turn down this life-changing opportunity for financial reasons. Wardlaw Scholarships were established thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends of the University of St Andrews, and are awarded to incoming students who have the academic ability to excel at St Andrews, but struggle financially to accept their place. These scholarships support each student during their entire time at St Andrews, giving them the confidence to accept their hard-earned place to study here. These also allow students to experience sport, societies, and the unique traditions that make St Andrews so special.
