History of Medicine in the University of St Andrews covers the very early days of the University, and concludes with detail of the coming up of medical clinical teaching in Dundee and all that led to. This was University College, and students started there as well as on “the Dundee side” as we used to call it (UCD). In our year we had 40 students from the St Andrews side and 30 from the Dundee side. This was the early share of numbers.
