The black and white photographs include portraits of artists such as David Hockney, Allen Jones, Kate Whiteford, Christopher Le Brun, Graham Nickson,Sarah Raphael, Matthew Colling,Lance Smith, Tracey McKenna and art dealers Christopher Hull, Prue O'Day, Graham Paton, Vanessa Devereux,Andrew Kalman, Guy Beddington and art collector Tim Sayer, Tate Director Sir Nicholas Serota and many others. 
Cover photos of the guide are also included. 
 
 Heather Waddell is an author of 16 books and 20 of her black and white photo-portraits of artists and the art world are in the National Portrait Gallery Photography collection. 
She is also a freelance art critic for BBC TV World News since 2014.
