Links to St Andrews - Love Letters to the Home of Golf

Joshua Evenson, Masters of International Strat

Links to St Andrews is a beautiful anthology of short stories relating to St Andrews as The Home of Golf. St Andrews is more than the home of golf, an ancient university town or historical religious centre. The intersection of education, religious devotion, and an ancient game make St Andrews a timeless, special seaside town.

More than one hundred people from every path share stories about why they love St Andrews. They include locals, students, Open Championship winners, well-seasoned amateurs, artists and photographers, caddies, administrators, friends of the town, and more.

To name a few, they include well-known names such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Tom Watson, Sir Michael Bonallack, Jackie Burke Jr., Annika Sorenstam, Ben Crenshaw, Lorena Ochoa, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlory. In addition to the wonderful stories, there are more than four-hundred images that range from some of the first classical golf art to more contemporary pieces that were commissioned specifically for this book.

Artists such as Michael Klein, Lee Wybranski, Linda Hartough, Robert Kelsey, Mark Holden and many others have kindly supported the project. One unique aspect of this book is that there are one hundred limited edition copies that have been signed by nearly EVERY contributor. They will begin to debut at various events in early 2016.

The purpose of these books is to support charitable organizations around the world, while saying a special thanks to every person who has helped this book come to life. There are a number of books left for which people can apply. I encourage St Andrews alumni to do so at their convenience.
