This residential conference at the University of St. Andrews is a gathering of academics, practitioners and researchers who focus on the teaching, research, theory and practice of social, environmental and sustainability accounting and reporting.  The spirit of the conference is interdisciplinary and so submissions are also invited from perspectives beyond accounting. 

This Event is Open to Everyone - Academics and Practitioners Invited

For those not presenting a paper, the registration deadline is August 12th.

The Emerging Scholars Colloquium (ESC) aims at introducing emerging scholars into the social and environmental accounting research community, and providing them an opportunity to present and discuss their research projects alongside a cohort of distinguished international faculty.

The Annual International Conference of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) was held from Tuesday 28th August to Thursday 30th August 2018. This year the conference was hosted by the School of Management, University of St Andrews. The Emerging Scholars Colloquium was held on Monday 27th August 2018.

The Annual International Conference of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) was held in September 2013 at the University of St Andrews. The conference ran from the 3rd of September until Friday 6th of September. 

The plenary speaker was Professor John Roberts of the University of Sydney
