Caregivers and parents
The University recognises that working from home during coronavirus will pose difficulties for everyone, but especially those with additional responsibilities and caring roles.
Policies for carers and special leave
The coronavirus staff FAQs provide specific and update guidance under the current circumstances, particularly in relation to difficulties faced by those balancing caring responsibilities and homeworking.
St Andrews staff parents and carers network
The University's Staff Parents and Carers Network has established an MS Teams group to offer a virtual space in which staff with caring responsibilities can support each other and share advice. If you would like to be added to this group, please contact email@example.com.

Resources for keeping family and friends engaged and entertained
For those of you with children to entertain at home, look out for Wardlaw workshops on Mondays, where the Museums team will supply you with a mission for the week ahead and advice from an expert at the University of St Andrews to help you complete it. From creating secret messages like the ancient Incas to building your own flying machines, we’ll keep them busy.
The ever-popular Wee Wardlaws session for under 5s is also going digital, bringing you rhymes, stories, activities and crafts inspired by our collections every Friday.
Join our museum events:
- Wardlaw workshops on Mondays at 10am
- Museum storytime on Wednesdays at 1pm
