Collaborations with University Collections and Museums

Research is a key part of what University Collections and Museums do.

We study the collections, collaborate with academic Schools on their research and try new ways of achieving research impact for societal benefit.

We can help you to:

  • develop your ideas for a collaboration with University Collections and Museums
  • engage the public with research through exhibitions, events or small experiments
  • use audience understanding and evaluation expertise to achieve measurable and meaningful impact.

Learn more about some of the collaborations and research strengths in University Collections and Museums.

To submit or propose a collaboration idea, you should complete a note of interest form. You'll hear back from the Programmes and Exhibitions Committee within 2 to 5 weeks.

You must speak to us before you include University Museums in any grant applications. We will not commit to supporting any projects that have not been formally approved by the Programmes and Exhibitions Committee.
