Training and Research in Material Culture Related to the Ancient World

This two day conference aims to bring together postgraduates and professionals working at museums, universities and similar institutions in fields related to the material culture of the ancient world (which may include numismatics, papyrology, museum curation, epigraphy, forensic anthropology, and virtual reality reconstruction).

These professionals will lead workshops designed to provide insight and training in these areas, which may not otherwise be accessible through universities.

Interspersed with these workshops, we aim to highlight current postgraduate research in fields related to the study of the ancient world, following the usual pattern of the StAGE conference.
