Study abroad

Students studying for any of our degrees have the option of spending one or two semesters of their third year studying abroad.

We have several partners in the US, Canada and Australia.  You can find further details of the opportunities and how to apply from Collaborations and Study Abroad

At present we have one Erasmus partner, the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. Most courses in Classics and Ancient History are taught in Dutch, so you would need to have at least intermediate-level Dutch to consider applying. The exchange is administered by the School of Art History.

If you are hoping to study abroad, you will need to contact the Study Abroad Co-ordinator (currently Giuseppe Pezzini) to get formal permission from the School of Classics.
