What has been your route to getting your current position? |
After my first year summer working in an IGO, I decided that I wanted to more of a corporate work environment. As I wasn't studying finance for my degree, I enrolled in finance classes the following summer. This the led to an internship in an investment bank the next summer. |

At a high level, my job involves valuing companies and putting together materials to present to companies on opportunities in the marketplace. |

Everyday I am challenged and learn new things. |

What skills/ knowledge from your degree have you found particularly helpful in this role? |
The keys to success at St Andrews and a finance job are similar- an eagerness to learn and time management. |
What advice would you give to students wishing to follow the same path? |
The most important thing is early prep. Many finance jobs result from internships while at university. |
