Centre for Academic, Professional and Organisational Development (CAPOD)

The Centre for Academic, Professional and Organisational Development (CAPOD) is the University's central provider of learning and development services to all staff and students. In support of the University's strategic priorities, CAPOD provides a comprehensive range of opportunities to support continuing professional and academic development, including bespoke programmes for different categories of staff and students. These encompass workshops, qualifications, online learning, mentoring and coaching. Our other areas of responsibility include IT skills development and learning technology, and a wide portfolio of organisational development and change initiatives. The latter includes staff wellbeing and engagement, and opinion research. CAPOD also provides a range of funding opportunities for staff and students to help promote personal and professional development.

If you have any feedback, ideas or suggestions for enhancement of our activities, please email: capod@st-andrews.ac.uk
