Research group leader positions

The BSRC is a world-leading centre for the interdisciplinary study of molecular mechanisms underlying infection, immunity and disease. Highly flexible laboratory space in the new building, funded by the Wellcome Trust and completed in 2012, provides opportunities for independent research fellows to establish new research groups in world-class laboratories.

Fellows are expected to apply for funding for their own salary from an external source such as the Royal Society, research councils, Wellcome Trust or other charities. We will provide help with applications in addition to an excellent research environment with a highly collegiate atmosphere, world-class facilities and good opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
