International students

Students come from all over the world to study in St Andrews, a historic town nestled on the picturesque coastline of Scotland. The School of Art History warmly welcomes applicants from overseas. Every year we attract a growing number of international students, from single-semester exchange students to full degree applicants. We aim to help you to settle in and make the most of your studies here.

Each semester we offer a wide range of taught modules on most areas of the western tradition of Art History, with particular strengths in the medieval and Renaissance periods, European and American modernism, the applied arts and architecture and the history of photography. For further information on the courses offered by the School of Art History, please consult the School of Art History Undergraduate Prospectus, Postgraduate Taught Prospectus or the Postgraduate Research Prospectus

Additional information on how to apply, entry requirements and immigration matters can be found on the University’s Prospective Students.
