Art History is an intellectually stimulating discipline embracing the aspects of economic, social and political history, languages and literature, philosophy, psychology and many other subject areas.

Former students of the School now use their knowledge and skills in a great variety of careers – in the law, media and retail sectors (among others) and in subject-specific areas such as art gallery and museum work, publishing and the art trade, heritage management and conservation, art therapy and teaching.
