Assistant warden role

The University of St Andrews is proud to provide a highly regarded, world class wardennial service as a core offering to students living within University residences. The service is an essential element of the student experience at St Andrews and the wardennial team plays a major role in defining student life in each residence. The role of assistant warden is challenging but rewarding. As an assistant warden you will live as part of the residence community and help develop a strong and positive residence identity, while advising and guiding students as they settle into University life.  The role of assistant warden is open to staff (minimum 0.5 FTE) and PhD students only.

Vacancies for 2022/2023 Academic Year

We are looking for 3 energetic, motivated and friendly individuals to join the new Halls Life team at the Old Mill in Dundee, the newest addition to the University’s accommodation offering.  Centrally located in the heart of Dundee, the Old Mill offers the potential for a vibrant and dynamic student experience. 

This part-time, live-in position is open to PhD and MRes students as well as staff members (minimum 0.5FTE) and involves working mainly evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
