Agnes Blackadder Hall extension

Work began in July 2017 with a completion date of October 2018 for a new residence Powell Hall adjacent to Agnes Blackadder Hall.  This will provide 205 ensuite bedspaces.  A hoarding fence around the construction site will ensure separation from the existing building and full safety of students and staff.  The main site compound will be to the rear and front area of the residence.  The University is working closely with the contractor so that they are aware of critical times such as exam periods and the need to minimise the distuption to residents. They will be working 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.  

We will keep you updated on how the work is developing on this webpage and on the information boards in the residence.  The contractor will organise update meetings with you.
