Agnes Blackadder and University Halls extensions

The University of St Andrews, in partnership with Camping Living Villages, are developing extensions to Agnes Blackadder and University Halls.

Both buildings will be constructed over the 16 months period from July 2017 to October 2018.

They will provide about 205 bedspaces in Agnes Blackadder Hall and 186 in University Hall, with a mixture of ensuite or shared facilities, catered or self-catered, to ensure our students preferred choices can be met. All bedrooms are being designed with best utilisation of space for storage and use of modern technology, maximising natural light and providing a comfortable feel.

Each extension will provide social spaces in the form of kitchen/lounges, study rooms for individuals or small groups with IT facilities, cinema, music rehearsal room, games room as well as launderette facilities.

Both extensions will be linked to the existing buildings, providing enhanced reception facilities at Agnes Blackadder Hall and a seamless linkage of old and new buildings at University Hall.

Information boards in each of the 2 residences will update residents on the progress of this exciting build.
