New families welcomed to the St Andrews community

Tuesday 12 September 2017

The University's free-to-join Family Programme recognises that parents and guardians are key members of the University of St Andrews community, and on Sunday 10 September the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sally Mapstone, welcomed this year's new members to receptions held in the Younger Hall.

Two receptions in the afternoon - one for the Faculties of Arts and Divinity and one for the Faculties of Science and Medicine - provided families with the opportunity to talk to some of the senior officers of the University, representatives from each of the academic Schools and non-academic staff who will be supporting their students throughout their time at St Andrews.

Once Freshers' Week is over, we continue to keep families up to date with all the latest news and developments through St Andrews in the News - our monthly e-newsletter - and through Link - our newsletter for families of undergraduate students - which is published and delivered each semester.

Welcome to our community!
