We are pleased to announce that CSTPV staff members Dr Orla Lynch and Dr Javier Argomaniz have been awarded an EU grant under the programme "Prevention of and Fight against Crime" (ISEC) - RAD Targeted Call for Proposals 2012. The value of the grant is €700,098. The project will look at the victimisation experience and the radicalisation process and seeks to understand the perpetrator-victim cycle amongst individuals involved in political violence. Further to this, the project aims to examine the role of victims in the prevention of terrorism and political violence. This will be a multisite project with research being conducted in Northern Ireland, London, the Netherlands and Spain. There will be a number of outputs from this project including a best practise document and a number of academic publications.
