Welcome to the University of St Andrews Conservative and Unionist Association.

Founded in 1867 we are one of the oldest and largest associations in the country and boast a long and proud Conservative tradition. Previous Presidents of the association include Lord Forsyth, former Secretary of State for Scotland, and the founders of the influential free-market think thank The Adam Smith Institute.

Over the last few years we have played host to several MSPs, MPs, and MEPs, helped campaign for Conservative candidates across Scotland, and have given our members the opportunity to meet high-profile Conservatives, including David Cameron and other members of the shadow cabinet. This year we hope to continue this tradition with an exciting calendar of events including numerous guest speakers and dinners as well as a trip to Westminster. As a member of the association you will also have the opportunity to contribute to our annual policy journal, Progressus, which has been published sporadically since 1967 and is sent to all Conservative MPs and MSPs.

I hope that you will join us at this exciting time for our party, and help to return a Conservative Government at the next general election - whenever that may be!
