St Andrews University Tibet Society
Welcome to the University of St Andrew Tibet Society! As you can see from our events page, the society has had a busy academic year during 2009/10. Thanks to the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Tibet has been brought back to the forefront of the media and political debate. The Tibet Society aims to ensure that this remains so.
As a society we hope to raise awareness about the plight of Tibetan people, both inside Tibet and in exile. Additionally, the society has been active in raising funds for Tibet related charities. Through these activities, we also hope to offer our members an insight into the fascinating history and culture of Tibet.
