NEXT EVENTS UPCOMING

ST. ANDREWS DAY - 30th November. With the campaign for a St. Andrews day loud and clear; SNPsoc will be having a pub night at the very least - more details to follow.

BURNS SUPPER - During the first week of the second semester, SNPsoc will be organising a Burns Supper, probably at one of the local hotels for members and friends - a non-political event. We hope to have a speaker along for this.

PRE-ELECTION - End of April 2007 - with the Scottish Elections coming up we will probably be plundering Westminster for the likes of Angus Macneil for a high-profile talk; or possibly heading over the water to our neighbours in Ireland for a special talk on Economic Potential in the Small Nations.

SOME PAST EVENTS

Dinners and nights out have also occurred. In 2004 we were able to celebrate St. Andrews day with the European Society in an event at the Cellar Bar. Our Christmas dinner (Grill House), Burns Supper (Broons) and end of year dinner (Papa Joes) were well attended over 2004-5. For Christmas 2005 we were in Pizza Express. As with everything, we home back to the Whey Pat tavern with the attraction of friendly staff and good beer.
