How to Apply
All SASP applicants must complete the University of St Andrews application process and your application must also include a SASP application form.
Your application must be accompanied by two academic references, a transcript of your academic record, and the required application forms.
Applicants for the PhD, MPhil and MLitt should include a written piece of work of no more than 2000 words. Applicants for the PhD and MPhil should also include a research proposal. Conversion diploma applicants are not required to send either a research proposal or sample of written work.

Please note that there is a deadline for applications to the PhD, but not for applications to the MLitt or Conversion Diploma. (However, there is a deadline for applicants who wish to be considered for Philosophical Quarterly funding – see below.)
