Accomodation

The conference registration fee included bed and breakfast accomodation on Monday and Tuesday night. The accomodation was located in the McIntosh Hall on Abbotsford Crescent (see the map on the location page).

The MacIntosh hall has a common room and two TV lounges on D-floor, two study rooms on C-floor and a library and computer room on E-floor. There is a pool table located in the common room and also located on D-floor. Vending machine(s) - for chocolate, soft drinks and bottled water are located in the middle of B-floor corridor. There will be wired (ethernet) internet access in all rooms as well as wifi and computer access available at the Gateway itself. Wifi usernames and passwords can be obtained at accomodation check in or from the conference organisers throughout the course of the conference.

Additional accomodation or childcare was available upon request.

Meals

Breakfast was served in the McIntosh dining room between 8am and 9am. A buffet lunch (along with tea, coffee and biscuit breaks) was provided on all three days and was served in the Gateway. Dinner on both Monday and Tuesday night was also included in the conference. On Monday night we held the dinner at Pizza Express on Logies Lane. The conference dinner took place on Tuesday night at the Byre on Abbey Street.
