Although generally not quite so large as the largest tigers, male lions pretend to be just as big by having a much more extensive mane than male tigers, covering shoulders, chest, belly... Considering that the lion is another favourite beast, there seem to be relatively few specific lion links, apart from those in the general "big cats" pages.
