Patricia Macdonald, artist-photographer and environmental interpreter,
was born in Edinburgh and studied at the University of Edinburgh. Much
of her photographic work, made from the air in collaboration with Angus
Macdonald as pilot, deals with the natural process, environmental themes
and history.
This is one of a pair of artworks in which the artist uses low-level
aerial imagery to interpret two views of the Cairngorms National Park.
Macdonald creates works that are abstract, lyrical, and full of historical
association.
