AVTIS: Montserrat 2004

Although the majority of the survey work was carried out at St Georges, AVTIS did get a chance to fly out to two locations by helicopter: Windy Hill and the Tar River Delta

The map shows the four locations around the volcano and their respective fields of view, colour coded to match the datasets shown in the animation below.

The animation shows the entire Montserrat dataset, starting with a top down view that matches the map plotting the datasets sequentially. Once all of the datasets are plotted there is a flyby of the volcano. Keep an eye out for the large buttress marked in the above photo (red dataset)

Without an active target to image, AVTIS required an alternative volcano to continue system development
