Cognitive Control and Affect Regulation Lab

Principal Investigator

Dr Ines Jentzsch

Our research group investigates the cognitive neuroscience of attention and performance in humans. We focus on the study of frontal brain functions in cognitive control and affect regulation using both behavioural and electrophysiological (EEG) approaches. We are specifically interested in how these processes change as a function of expertise (e.g., in groups with high levels of motor skills such instrumental musicians), normal aging and psychological illness.
