JUNIOR WILDLIFE CLUB 2011/2012

 
Starting Saturday 3rd September.

     The Botanic Garden is a wonderful environment in which to learn about nature. St Andrews Botanic Gardens Education Trust in partnership with the Scottish Wildlife Trust and the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust Ranger Service shall provide an enjoyable learning experience for enthusiastic young nature lovers.

     Activities shall include pond dipping, mini beast hunts, signs and tracks, bird watching, making birdfeeders and bird boxes and much more. Club Members will be given a Wildlife Diary to record their discoveries.

          The age range is 8 to 14 year olds. The cost per child is £10 for the year, which covers the cost of materials provided. Subsequent children will be discounted - £18 for two, £25 for three. The club meets on the first Saturday of each month from 10.30am to 12pm during term time. A full programme will be provided on registration.

      Registration will take place at the Glass Class in the Botanic Gardens at 10.30am on Saturday 3 rd September 2011 followed by the first activity - Pond Dipping.
